- Understand the main reasons why not to put your assets in your children’s names.
- Know whether your power of attorney is enough or whether it’s completely useless if someone needs to act on your behalf with Medicaid.
- Become familiar with the biggest myths and misconceptions of Medicaid such as:
- If you need Medicaid, you can lose your home.
- It is better to give your assets away so you don’t lose them to Medicaid.
